Medi Assist Manipur at Enrolment Camp for CM-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang Launch
Chief Minister N Biren Singh launched the Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) at Imphal earlier this year in January. The event marked the second such scheme to be flagged off as part of a social security benefit for the people in the state. This revolutionary health insurance scheme initiated by the Chief Minister seeks to provide cashless treatment to those in poverty at Government hospitals, health centres, and also at other empanelled private hospitals.To drive enrolment for the scheme, a camp was organised by CMO Bishnupur in association with Medi Assist Manipur and Medical Team MLA Moirang AC. 1627 eligible individuals were enrolled at the camp and 800 health cards were issued to those in need.Read more about the scheme on the Sangai Express and E-pao.net.
