GI Reconstitution: Dr. Vikram Jit Singh Chhatwal Nominated as TPA Representative

After a period of 3 years, the General Insurance Council has been fully reconstituted. The self-regulatory body has been constituted under section 64C of the Insurance Act (1938) by the IRDAI since 2001 and bridges the former with the non-life insurance industry. The inductees nominated by the IRDA — who now form the new Executive Committee of the General Insurance Council — are designated as follows:
