The former enjoy a lot of productive and fulfilling hours throughout the day while the latter gift themselves miserable mornings and hasty afternoons.

Hydrate yourself: After a night of sleep, your body becomes entirely dehydrated and therefore, drinking water should be the first thing on your morning to-do list. It instantly energizes your body and helps you get started with your day.

Have enough time on you: Waking up 10 minutes early is a winning situation compared to waking up 10 minutes late. Nothing eases up your mind like knowing that you sufficient to complete every task on your list. Don’t trust us? Try it for a day and you’ll be a fan of waking up early.

Drink your tea and think of positive stuff: Take some time out to enjoy your morning tea/coffee with a side of positive thoughts and affirmations. Say to yourself that you’ll have a good and productive day and think of ways how you can make that happen.

Plan it out: When we use the word ‘plan’, we don’t mean that plan every single hour of your day. By planning, we are implying that know what fits where in your daily schedule. For eg: If working out is on the top of your priority list, do it first thing in the morning and get it out of the way or if you want to read a book, try squeezing it in while commuting.

Breathe and Yoga: Good mental health is always directly proportional to a good day. Indulge in breathing and yoga to ease up your mind and body. As ordinary as it sounds, it can actually do wonders for you and your day.

Take a walk: Early risers know that there’s magic in the morning air and we couldn’t agree more. No matter how many hours you sleep for, take a 10-15 walk in the open. It doesn’t matter if walk with your thoughts, your neighbor or your favorite music, what matters is that it will wake you up and fill you with a new found positive energy.

Listen to music: Nothing wakes you up like your favorite music. Sing it out loud, enjoy it silently through your earphones or jam to your favorite beats. No matter how you choose to play your music, one thing’s for sure that after 3 songs, you’ll be ready to take on the world.
