Individuals who tend to develop greater empathy, trust and self-esteem, have reduced rates of depression, anxiety, or other significant distress.

Eating well can improve your overall health and mood, and to an extent help you avoid mental health disorders such as depression and dementia. An imbalanced diet can affect neurotransmitters which can then affect mood and temperature. A balanced diet includes healthy amounts of proteins, essential fats, complex carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and water. Foods that are rich in flavonoids and omega-3 fatty acids have various mental health benefits including improving memory and treating depression.

Your mind and the body are intertwined, and well-being is giving importance to both.
